Welcome to

Gutter Tips:

Cleaning your gutters can be fun, (or maybe
not). It is also
full of hazards. If you have been
neglecting this chore, don't worry, You will still be rewarded
by making gutter cleaning a project before rains begin to fall.
One reason is to make sure the water flows
away from the house, or else it may break into the foundation. Water can damage a home's foundation in as
little as 3 years depending on the age of the home. Water can
also damage personal belongings kept in a basement.
If your gutters are full of debris like
leafs, tennis balls, shingles and so on water will not flow. It
will work its way into the house, rot the fascia boards, the
soffits, the plywood in the roof and even the rafter tips.

Winter snow and ice can be hard on gutters, and if left alone can become a real mess for you to deal with. You should
check for any leaks the gutters may have. If your gutters are outdated
full of seams and holes it may be time to replace them.
Remember, gutters don’t just protect your foundation they
protect the siding, trim, windows, landscaping, and even the
interior of your home as well.
